The one and only...

Today I am STOKED to introduce Kenzie to you all!
When I first checked out {The Ashcraft Bunch} I have to admit, I was drawn to how simply beautiful this girl is - but beauty goes way beyond appearance and so I clicked on the "about me" section. Right then, I knew we would get along GREAT! She is a woman of God...and THAT my friends makes her beautiful! I hope you'll stop by and meet Kenzie...hang out for a while...and even become new blogging buddies - she's definitely one you want to meet.

P.S. - Who likes Sephora??
I guess you'll have to scroll down to see why :)

Tell us a bit about yourself! am a twenty-something wife to my high school sweetheart and first time mother to a little girl who has stolen our hearts. I love photography, DIY projects, baking and spending time with my family. I have too many pairs of TOMS to count as well as Essie nail polish, and I am in love with Jesus.

Tell us a bit about your blog! I started blogging about a month before we had our daughter as a way to keep up with family and friends. I was tired of Facebook and I wanted to keep them updated on all of our family happenings and Paisley's milestones in a more personal and fun way. Since then it has turned into so much more. I have met some amazing women who have turned into friends. You will see a lot of DIY projects, family moments, cooking, a little bit of fashion, and our current home building process. I am now offering PR & sponsorship as well!

Besides blogging, what are a few other favorite hobbies you enjoy?
DIY projects, interior decorating, taking pictures, shopping, and cooking.

A few fun questions:
Favorite season and why? Fall. Oklahoma weather is a little ridiculous. One day it will be 110 degrees outside and then next day we will have tornadoes, snow, or rain. It's crazy. Fall is about the most normal and consistent season we have and it is gorgeous that time of year!

Tell us 3 things we probably don't know about you...
1. Some of my new followers have mentioned that I probably have that southern Oklahoma accent or asked if I did. Well no, I don't. HA!   I've met some REALLY southern girls and I don't think my accent is up to that caliber. I don't talk slow or slur my words and grammar is a big pet peeve of mine. I really try to fix my mistakes as soon as I catch them on my blog. It is far from perfect but I really try to proof thoroughly before I publish.

2. I have competed in rodeos since I was a little girl. I team rope and barrel race. I also competed on the rodeo team where I went to college at Oklahoma State University. All things aside, I  like to be a girly girl. Unless I am riding or practicing at our pen, I don't wear jeans and boots that often. Normally skinny jeans and TOMS or a cute summer outfit. I really dislike being labeled one thing or another. I just like doing a variety of things. :)

3. I would rather read a book than watch a movie. I love diving in a good story and getting wrapped up in my imagination. It is a big comfort for me.

Who is your hero/inspiration? My husband. He's my rock & my best friend. He has such an amazing testimony and inspires me to love and live life to the fullest. We have so much fun together and I am so thankful for the man, husband, father, and friend he is. He encourages and lifts me up daily and I am so thankful for that.
Now it's time for the Giveaway!!
GOOD LUCK!!

The "Jack of all Trades" blog...I introduce.....

YAY! I've been wanting to introduce Cassandra for a while now - and today I GET TO!
Cassandra is a BLAST to follow - she's basically a jack of all trades type of blog...
If you're anything like me, you've categorized your blogs on Bloglovin along the lines of "I only follow these blogs because of giveaways..." and then I have "DAILY READS" - well, Cassandra is a daily read...most definitely!
I hope you'll stop by her blog and get inspired and motivated to spice up your home, read a new book...or simply write a new blog post!
P.S. - rumor has it she's giving away a Visa Gift Card at the bottom of this post.
Hmmm, guess you'll just have to scroll down and see for yourself!

Hello Sippy Cups and Pearls readers!
My name is Cassandra and I blog over at, The Lyric Locket

I blog about a few different topics.
I'm a DIY junkie and love to create beautiful things out of people's used times. For example, this coffee table I bought off of craigslist for 5$.

and this desk...

I also like to use DIY projects to help show my appreciation for the little things in life...

Stars in my hot coco.

Little lights along my windows.

Rainbows in my appetizer tray.

I'm a huge believer that the small effort that goes into minor details can make a HUGE difference on any experience. I try to show my appreciation for life and it's joys through these small details. I make that extra effort because I want to celebrate all that I have to be fortunate for.

In addition to the DIYing and celebrating that I do on my blog I also share about my daily life happenings with friends, family, and these two:

My cat, Logan and the man that pops in a lot, my boyfriend of three years, Derek.

There is always something going on at The Lyric Locket and I hope to see you over there for what comes next.

A sincere 'Thank you' to Whitney. Isn't her blog wonderful?

It's always a special experience when you can find a blog that inspires you and her's really has inspired me. Her dedication to family and her creativity make me check in daily with Sippy Cups and Pearls.

Oh Sybil - we all want your hair! (+Giveaway!!)

Good morning everyone! I am so excited to introduce Sybil to you! I have been seeing her button on a lot of sidebars and knew I had to go see what all the hype was about!
Besides her awesome curly hair that I want SO BAD, she thrives to encourage and inspire which is exactly what our world needs in today's time!
And since you're reading my blog anyway....that means you understand my love for Jesus -
Sybil shares that same love....that's why I know you'll love her blog!
Go say Hi!

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I'm a 38-year old wife and mother of three. I am a School Psychologist, by profession, and a Christian, by faith. My kids - A, E, and O - are 10, 8, and (nearly) 5. My husband, M, and I have been married for 12 years and make our home in California.

Tell us a bit about your blog (how it got started...is there meaning behind the name...etc...)
My blog is my story. It's the place where I reflect, with complete honestly, on my family and faith, and the struggles that come with raising a child with special needs. I began Peace it all Together in April 2012 in an effort to make peace with the pieces if my life. It was a way for me to share my faith and to do more of what I love, writing. It has become so much more.

What are a few things you do, besides blogging, in your spare time?
As a busy working mom, with three equally busy children, I don't have much free time. What free time I do have is usually devoted to blogging. I also enjoy reading and taking time to get pampered, like with a facial, massage or pedicure.

You just won a million bucks!!! What's the first thing you do with some of the money?
If I won a million dollars, I would have to be practical first...like using it to pay off our house and car. After that, I would definitely want to set some of the money aside for a big trip. Probably with the whole family, to New York or maybe Hawaii, or both.

Who is your hero?
I have never thought about having a hero. There are a lot of people who I admire, but the only person who has truly rescued me is Jesus. Without Him and the sacrifice He made, I would be stuck in sin, with no possibility of freedom from death or the hope of everlasting life.

Tell us 3 random facts about yourself!
- I don't eat seafood, except tuna...but, only from a can. I have never tried sushi!
- I cannot keep plants alive. Whatever the opposite of a green thumb is, that's what I have.
- I will reload the dishwasher the correct way, even when it is nearly full. I just can't leave the dishes in the wrong place.

Oh yeah - because she's so cool, she's giving away a $10 Starbucks Gift Card! Woot Woot!
GOOD LUCK!
